MSC is a European cruise line and Americans are a minority of the passenger mix onboard. This is great for those that want to be part of a European-flavored vacation experience. But dining tends to be later, entertainment is geared to appeal to Europeans as much as an American audience, and announcements onboard are multi-lingual.
