WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are four options from which to choose.
(For more details on each, click on the title):
1. A Wizard’s Journey – This package is the complete, ultimate immersion into Middle earth. It includes the 6-night personalized pre-cruise tour, the 14-night cruise from Auckland to Sydney and the full package of all 3 Lord of the Rings-themed day tours during the cruise. This is for the fan who wants to ‘see it all’ in this ‘once in a lifetime’ vacation.
2. A Hobbit’s Journey – This package consists of the full 14-night cruise and the full package of all offered Lord of the Rings themed day tours during the tour. This package is for the fan that can only spare the two weeks of the cruise, but wants to see and experience as much Lord of the Rings activities as possible while also enjoying a beautiful cruise.
3. A Ranger’s Journey – This is the 14-night cruise without any LOTR land tours included, but with the option to participate in Lord of the Rings-themed events onboard the ship. This option is perfect for the spousal units who tolerate your Lord of the Rings fandom, but do not share it. This will allow for the family to travel together, but don’t worry; there will be more than enough entertainment options on the ship and programs ashore to keep them happy. They will have the option to purchase individual Lord of the Rings Day tours that may be of interest, or other shore excursions of interest, as long as it is done in advance.
4. A Rohirrim’s Journey – This is the 6-night pre-cruise tour for the Ringer who just can’t take too much time away from home. The tour mostly visits the Rohan sites, hence the name. This package will allow you the chance to get to travel with fellow Ringers, see some beautiful countryside and sample some of New Zealand’s famous action-oriented outdoor activities.
