About Star Clipper's fleet Star Clippers' Royal Clipper is the flagship of the fleet. At 439 square feet, Royal Clipper is the largest full-rigged sailing ship in the world -- the ultimate mega sailing yacht. With 42 sails and 56,000 square feet of sail, three swimming pools, a marina the lowers from the stern for water sports, and a unique underwater viewing lounge. Royal Clipper accommodates up to 227 passengers.
Star Clippers' other yachts, Star Clipper and Star Flyer are smaller brethren that carry up to 170 guests. They are the tallest of the tall ships, with 36,000 square feet of sail.
Each of the vessels carries watersports toys onboard, including kayaks.
There are no casinos or stage shows, and a piano bar in the evening may be the highlight of onboard entertainment. Local entertainment is brought onboard at select ports of call. Or you can enjoy the crab racing contest.
