Cruising can be enjoyed by just about everyone. There are just a few destination ports that can prove challenging. One benefit of letting me help you plan your perfect cruising vacation is the help and advice I can give for travelers with Special Needs. Outside of the travel industry I worked with Developmentally Disabled adults for 16 years, have a Masters Degree in Special Education, and most importantly, have a sister with Down Syndrome. She has been to England twice, Hawaii numerous times, Las Vegas, Florida, DC, New York City, and recently spent two weeks in New Zealand. I am intimately aware of taking Special Needs into account when arranging a vacation. Everything from ‘will they be interested?’ to ‘can I rent a wheelchair there?’ and finally ‘will I be able enjoy this destination if I can’t walk well?’ I’ve asked all those questions a million times in my travels, found out numerous different answers and understand the need to ask them all. If you call and ask a question I don’t know, I will get the answer for you.
